Gem Kirins Adoptables [CLOSED]

Note: these closed species are based on Kirin from Japanese mythology.

HISTORY:
A long time ago there were pony species called Kirins. Initially, they were born from forbidden bonds between dragons and ponies, but eventually it all turned into a completely new race, more similar to ponies than to dragons. For a long time Kirins were hiding in caves of Equestria, fearing ponies and other creatures; caves full of jewels and gems changed the appearance of Kirins, making them more attuned to the gems hidden in the cave. After not seeing sunlight for a long time Kirins learned how to feed on the energy and magic of gems, so this race turned into a different, more unusual and beautiful one – into the Gem Kirins.

APPEARANCE:
Gem Kirins have one horn: it is closer to the dragon’s horn than to unicorn’s, because it often has an unusual shape and bright color. There is no magic in this horn. Gem Kirins’ body is bright, soft; on the rump and back it usually has strong, fossilized gem scales – good protection against unexpected enemies. Gem Kirins have a beautiful, lush mane, and a thin, tenacious tail, which can be similar to a dragon’s, or, conversely, to have a fluff or a mane at the end. Gem Kirins can’t have wings.
Gem Kirins have hoof-made amulet on their tail from the gem that protects them – so they accumulate their strength and magic.
In average, Gem Kirins live for two thousand years – yeah, they got longevity from the dragons.

ABILITIES:
Gem Kirins never dare to harm anything living. They appear in the areas where changes are needed, they brings justice, good luck, a good harvest. Flowers usually grow where Gem Kirins set hooves. Gem Kirins are very lightweight and can jump quite high and literally "float" above lands. Gem Kirins can walk on clouds like the pegasi. It's a very kind, wise and beautiful race. And if you see a Gem Kirin that left it's cave (which they rarely do) – be prepared that your life will change in a most wonderful way.
